Why
should I have a Personal Chef?
Healthier
choices than eating out or buying pre-packaged food; less expensive than
eating out: More time for the family.
Do I have to be home while the Chef is working?
It's up to you. Just remember that your kitchen
is the chef's 'office' during the time it takes to prepare your meals.
Regardless, you end up with a clean kitchen, prepared food, and great smells
from a day of cooking.
Does the Chef use my equipment or their own?
We use your equipment as
much as possible. We
do make sure that we put things back sanitized and where we found them. Your
kitchen should be in the same shape we found it in.
Can I choose the type of meals I want?
Absolutely! We understand that you may be on a
special diet or that you have very specific needs, likes, and dislikes. We're
here to help! At your interview we'll go over all of your concerns and
customize the service for you. If you want to choose your menu or even give us
your own special recipes we'll accommodate you. We'll also deal with the
hassle of menu planning completely if you want it that way!
Can I customize my service?
Yes. You're the only one that can tell us what
you need. Packages can also be changed at any time as your needs change. We'll
tell you if we can't do something for either practical or health reasons but
we'll do our very best to give you exactly what you want! It really is all
about you.
How often does the Chef cook for us?
The frequency depends on your needs. We usually
cook weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Other types of service can be arranged.
I love spicy foods, my
husband's allergic to garlic, and the kids prefer simple dishes.
What do you do in a case like that?
During the initial interview, Chef Nigel will
go over your family's food preferences. He will prepare dishes to suit your
taste, even if there are restrictions on ingredients. The longer he cooks for
you, the better he'll be able to fine-tune his recipes so that they're exactly
what you want to eat, every day.
