Chef Nigel I want to personally thank you for preparing my special 80th birthday dinner on October 10th here at the farm. It was absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented! As our family gathered that day- it was a new experience to have a chef come into our home and prepare the meal. If you only could have heard the comments as each one ate, about how unique and delicious each food preparation was and how much we were enjoying it. An example- David Scott, my son-in-law was sitting beside me - he travels the world with his work and really enjoys good food. He finished his dinner and then asked Alistair ( whom you met) if he could finish his too. Alistair refused to share!! intimate wedding reception at our home, we of course agreed. When
she asked if we knew of any catering companies that may be able to
prepare food for the reception, we suggested that she look to
Lambton County's personal professional Chef (as we had already
experienced your wonderful cuisine).
You certainly lived up to our
expectations and your reputation. Your dishes were perfectly timed,
presented and flavorful, as evidenced by every platter coming back
to the kitchen, not just empty but almost "licked clean".
Every guest raved about the food. And you clean up, too! A top
quality and seamless service.
You may want to change your website logo
from " bringing the the restaurant to your home" to
"bringing 5 star dining to your home".

Our entire experience with you was easy. Your menu choices are vast. There is no question that there is something for everyone. Hi Nigel Just wanted to thank you for the delicious meal you served us last evening. It was truly great. We will be mentioning your name at every function we attend. The different slant on the Caesar salad was a really nice touch and SO tasty. The Pork Wellington was to die for and the presentation - so nice. I am not a dessert lover and bread and butter pudding was not one I would normally choose (it is R's favorite though) but it was so light and creamy. I don't suppose there was a calorie in it!! Everyone raved about the meal, so hopefully you will get some business out of it. We hope so. I don't suppose you would share the recipe for the maple/walnut sauce that came with the pork would you? I know your recipes are your livelihood and will understand if you don't want to give it out. I would not give it to anyone else. Thanks again and all the best for 2006. Happy Cooking! S & B

Good Afternoon Nigel, I just want to reiterate again, what an absolutely wonderful dinner you served us last night. Everyone enjoyed it immensely. It sure beats the Chuckwagon Chili we're cooking up tonight!! You mentioned that you wouldn't mind giving us a recipe. If you really don't mind, I would love the one for your broccoli soup and the crème caramel. Don't know if I can make the latter work, but I would sure like to give it a try. We want to thank you so much for the outstanding dinner you prepared in our home on June 30, 2005. Below is an explanation for anyone who is considering a catered dinner.
We invited three couples making it eight people for dinner. Nigel arrived at 2:30pm for a 7:30 dinner. He brought everything with him, the food, the cooking utensils, dishcloths & towels! He placed a professional framed copy of the menu on our kitchen island. The only thing we had to do was to choose the menu in advance from his wonderful assortment and set the table. The minute he arrived he went right to work, zesting lemons infusing Portobello mushrooms and preparing sauces. Everything was from scratch including the flambéed lemon crème brulee for dessert!
Nigel's wife assisted him in the serving and clean up. It was a perfect night from the delicious appetizers to the tastiest, classy dinner we could ever ask for. When Nigel and Susan left, the dishwasher was filled, the appetizer dishes were washed and put away, the cooking utensils were in his van and the only thing left for us to do was the linen and crystal that we had told him we would do by hand later.
We are entertainers and have a lot of dinner parties in our home so we are used to being busy in the kitchen when we have a dinner. It was a little difficult to turn the kitchen over to another cook in the beginning but once our quests arrived and we were having such a wonderful time in our sunroom, when the timer on the stove went off it was a great feeling to know that Nigel had everything under control!
